| Mr. X (Tyrant-00) |

|
When you see just how this guy enters Resident Evil 2 I just know your going to be freaked. Then when he attacks it's about as bad. You will be standing there shooting countless rounds in his direction, it might be an easier thing if you just run from him when he attacks you.
Really if you don't have the ammo to take him down (and very early on you probably won't have enough ammo to spare) then you shouldn't bother. However when he does turn up you can get ammo for dropping him so if you think that you do have the ability to drop him do so.
Mr. X (Tyrant 00)'s main role is that of recovery for Umbrella of the G-Virus sample. He won't stop, attacking any he believes have the sample and any who get in the way of him getting it.
In Resident Evil Survivor there are many Mr. X units as this is the island where they are created. You'll likely have to drop them with handgun ammo, and they normally take 2 to 3 clips of ammo depending on the gun your using. |
| Strategy |
| The Tyrants only attack is to continually punch, or in some cases slam down on, you with his fists. You can avoid some of these by keeping distance or moving at the right time, but trying to run past usually means you'll run into his fist. As for fighting back - anything, the stronger the better, should be used to drop Mr. X, and at a distance is always the best way to fight. However you will only get back some ammo for doing this so if you don't feel like attacking you should try to avoid and run.
For Survivor, thankfully most of the times you'll encounter them you'll have space or can create space. It's only once during one possible part of the game, where you have to face up to four of them in a row, that they appear in rooms which don't leave too much running combat room. |
